A 37-year career of administering to both residents and guests of the Vail Valley was recently rewarded as Dr. Jack Eck, one of the Vail Valley Medical Center’s pioneering physicians, was selected as the 2008 recipient of the Vail Valley Foundation’s Vail Valley Citizen of the Year Award.
The award will be presented to the 66-year-old Eck on December 5 at the Foundation’s annual Black Diamond Ball, held in conjunction with the Audi Birds of Prey Men’s World Cup Race Week in Beaver Creek.
