A really nice article hit the New York Times yesterday about 44 year old Matt Carpenter training for the 2009 Teva Mountain Games. Carpenter is known as the master of high-altitude running and holds the current record for the 13.3 mile Pikes Peak ascent and Pikes Peak marathon races.
