Aceyalone & The Lonely Ones will officially be playing Mountains of Music on Friday, June 5 for the Teva Mountain Games at 6pm. The show will take place at Checkpoint Charlie in Vail Village on the heels of the Tamarama Free Concert slated for Thursday June 4.
The Los Angeles-based freestyle hip hop pioneer Aceyalone has produced nine solo albums since 1995 and has launched a global underground buzz with nearly 50 appearances on other artists’ works. Aceyalone’s newest effort, The Lonely Ones was released in March 2009, and critics are hailing his risk taking and unparalleled creativity. Aceyalone weaves funk, soul, doo-wop and swing into his one-of-a-kind lyricism. What comes out of it is fresh hip hop that never gets old.
