The final American National Bank ShowDown Town free concert of the 2009 season is at 6:30 tonight with Grass It Up at Eagle Town Park.
Stuck in the middle, smack dab between traditional and new grass, Grass It Up will roll out bluegrass renditions of songs by Cake, Jimi Hendrix, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, Pearl Jam and Willie Nelson, among others, with the trio's own special rock and punk stylings to boot.
As always, ShowDown Town is packed with family activities... Tonight it is family safety day so be sure to check out the Eagle River Fire Protection District in addition to other family activities including face painting and Strider bike demos.
