Tonight we are excited to showcase the vintage soul-jazz, funk and rock influenced sounds of The New Mastersounds at the free concert series Bud Light Hot Summer Nights. Show kicks off at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail at 6:30pm.
The four piece British band draws influences from Jimmies McGriff, Smith and Hendrix as well as their most closely-associated mentors, The Meters. They have earned global recognition as a key band in the ‘New Funk’ scene, but purists beware, their unique blend of sounds doesn’t fit neatly into any one genre.
