A winter storm delivered fresh snow overnight at Beaver Creek and the cold temperatures today (Wednesday) are perfect for snowmaking on the lower portion of the mountain.
Course preparations are fully underway for the 2009 Audi Birds of Prey World Cup Race Week scheduled for December 4-6. Check back in the coming weeks for more updates, lodging specials and a behind the scenes look at building North America's downhill.
Beaver Creek Resort is slated to open on November 25th. The Birds of Prey is a free event for spectators and you need not use a day on your ski pass to attend.
