When the world's best ski racers pop the cork on the awards ceremony bubbly in Beaver Creek December 4-6, they will celebrate in style as Korbel California Champagne recently signed on as the official champagne of the 2009 Audi Birds of Prey World Cup Race Week.
In addition to their involvement with the Audi Birds of Prey, Korbel California Champagne will also serve as the Presenting Sponsor for the 2010 American Ski Classic, scheduled for March 18-21.
Along with the Audi Birds of Prey and the American Ski Classic, Korbel California Champagne has been an official supplier and licensee of the 1996 Olympic Summer Games in Atlanta, an official supporter of the 2000, 2002 and 2004 U.S. Olympic Teams and the 2002 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
The 2009 Audi Birds of Prey World Cup Race Week will include men's Super Combined, Downhill and Giant Slalom competitions, while also marking the lone men's World Cup stop in the U.S. this winter. The races should serve as a unique preview of the upcoming Winter Games in Vancouver.
