Norwegians Limber up for The Birds of Prey

We hit gold today when we stumbled upon this little web gem.

Enjoy a short video of the Norwegian ski team, anchored by Aksel Lund Svindal, limbering up for the 2009 Audi Birds of Prey World Cup.

NORWEGIANS PREPARE FOR BIRDS OF PREY:


Inspired by all the Michael Jackson tributes recently online, the Norwegians came up with the idea of making one themselves. This movie was filmed when they were skiing in Portillo, Chile September 2009. Dancers include Aksel Lund Svindal, Kjetil Jansrud, Lars Elton Myhre and coach Tron Moger. Based on these sweet moves we wonder if they will also be performing at the 2010 Vail International Dance Festival.

On a related note our well wishes go out to Svindal. A recent leg injury has sidelined him for the upcoming World Cup race in Levi. He hopes to be back to racing for Lake Louise and the Birds of Prey. As our reigning champion, we hope to see him in tip-top shape for the 2009 Audi Birds of Prey, December 4-6.
