The 2009-2010 Classical Series at the Vilar Performing Arts Center kicks off tonight with the Ten Tenors Nostalgica at 6:30pm.
With an unparalleled palette of repertoire, The Ten Tenors have taken their passion for quality music and powerful singing to such venues as London’s Royal Albert Hall, and the Sydney Opera House. In their program titled “Nostalgica” they invoke nostalgic memories of people, places and times in history. From ballads to post-war classics to jazz, the program may features such hits as Louis Armstrong’s favorite “What A Wonderful World” as well as other fan favorites “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” “Danny Boy” and “Besame Mucho.”
Earlier today we caught a sneak peak of them at the Vail Valley Medical Center for Arts In Healing. Let us just say that not only were they fantastic, but, it would appear that for the Ten Tenors it is indeed "Movember."
