Beaver Creek Terrain Updates for Birds of Prey

Beaver Creek Resort snowmaking crews have taken advantage of cold nighttime temperatures and additional terrain is set to open TODAY including access for skiers and snowboarders to watch Birds of Prey World Cup racing action from the finish.

The Birds of Prey Express Lift (Chair 9) and Red Tail trail will open to the public at 10 a.m. today through Saturday during the Birds of Prey and offer intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders access to the Red Tail finish arena to view the races. On Sunday, Dec. 6 Chair 9 and Red Tail trail will open to the public at 9 a.m. for access to view the Giant Slalom race which starts at 9:45 a.m. There is no beginner skiing access to the race arena; post-race skiers and snowboarders can egress Dally trail to the village or ride chair 9. A free shuttle bus from Beaver Creek Village also will be operating each day providing service to and from the finish arena.
