Dickens' "Ghostly Little Tale" Returns

Even if you've seen it before, make it a holiday tradition for your family! The Nebraska Theatre Caravan returns to the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek for its annual showcase of A Christmas Carol on Wednesday, December 23 at 6:30pm.

2009 marks 160 years since Charles Dickens introduced the world to the miserly Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, and generation after generation have enjoyed this timeless tale. The recent Disney release of the story starring Jim Carrey has appeased movie audiences, but the staged version is what is truly enrapturing for all ages. It's a spellbinding fable of a man who is given the rarest of gifts—the chance to look in his heart and change his life.
