Take a POV run down the Birds of Prey with Assistant Chief of Course Ron Rupert. The footage below was taken yesterday as final preparations were underway for the first day of downhill training scheduled for tomorrow. The POV footage below was shot with the VIP POV 1.5.
Anyone that has volunteered as part of the Talon Crew knows how hard it is to slip the course. Often volunteers, the Beaver Creek Race Crew and VVF staff are required to slip 40 degree icy slopes with hardware including netting, shovels, banners and various other materials. It is a very difficult task. A special thanks goes out to Ron, the Beaver Creek Race and Talon Crews and everyone else that makes the Birds of Prey one of the world's best downhill events.
Join us in Beaver Creek this Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the 2009 Audi Birds of Prey World Cup. Complete event details can be found HERE.
