The Yale Whiffenpoofs to open for B.B. King and the von Trapp Children

Special guests The Yale Whiffenpoofs, or the "Whiffs," are taking the VPAC stage twice next week! The world's oldest and best-known a Capella group will perform an opening set for B.B. King on Tuesday, December 29, and will open again on Wednesday for the von Trapp Children, rejoining the family onstage later in the evening for a joint performance.

The Whiffs are known for their lively performances and creative arrangements. Audiences can expect to hear everything from “Midnight Train to Georgia” to Broadway hits to an arrangement of Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time” to historic Yale songs.
