The apples did not fall far from their respective trees in the Morgan and Tillis families as daughters Lorrie (Morgan) and Pam (Tillis) have not only carried on but enhanced the legacies of their famous fathers through their own stellar careers.
Monday evening, July 12, at 8 p.m., these two cherished members of the Grand Ole Opry will grace the stage of the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek for a special acoustic evening that will serve as an up close and personal showcase of their unique voices, amazing harmonies and captivating stage presence.
“The format of this performance is going to make for a truly amazing show,” explained Kris Sabel, Director of the Vilar Performing Arts Center. “Lorrie and Pam will grace the stage for the entire evening together, sharing stories and songs that have either been individual hits or that have meant something special in their lives. It’s going to be more like they are performing in your living room, rather than in a theatre, which is the kind of show that the Vilar Center was designed for.”
