Bud Light Hot Summer Nights To Host Soulful R&B with the Laura Reed Trio

The Bud Light Hot Summer Nights free concert series rolls on with the progressive R&B sound of the Laura Reed Trio. This week's concert will also serve as a celebration for winning the 2015 World Alpine Ski Championships. The fun kicks off at 6:30pm, with gates opening at 5:30pm, at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail.

Born in South Africa and raised in the American South, Laura Reed uses aspects of both cultures to shape a musical style all her own. A mixture of funk, progressive R&B and pure soul give way to a unique and inspiring live music experience, driven by Reed’s powerful vocals.

In addition to the free concert, don't miss the celebration honoring the Vail Valley Foundation's winning bid for Vail and Beaver Creek to host the 2015 World Alpine Ski Championships. There will be 2015 bumper stickers and balloons, food and drink specials as well as face painting and tattoos for the kids! A pair of skis will also be up for grabs!

This is the last Hot Summer Nights concert before the series goes on a two week hiatus to make way for the Vail International Dance Festival July 27 through August 10. August 10 will serve as a combination of two Vail Valley Foundation events with Hot Summer Nights of Dance and the urban dance stylings of BreakEFX.
