The first documented out of state sighting of a Vail-Beaver Creek 2015 World Championships bumper stickers comes courtesy of our friend and U.S. Ski Team member Steven Nyman, who is proudly spreading the good word via his pickup truck.
The stickers were handed out in conjunction with the July 20 Community Celebration, which allowed the Vail Valley community to toast the success of winning the 2015 bid. While not in attendance, Nyman got his hands on one of the coveted stickers through his friend Ken Hoeve of TV8 fame.
Steven was on hand to join in the initial celebration of the World Championships win on June 3 as he was in town competing in the Stand Up Paddling event at the Teva Mountain Games when the bid was announced.
We also look forward to seeing him again soon for the annual Birds of Prey World Cup at Beaver Creek, December 3-5, when Steven and the rest of the U.S. Men's Team will be on hand for Downhill, Super-G and Giant Slalom races.
Thanks for helping us spread the word Steven and see ya soon.
